Hillary was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelors degree in Health and Exercise Science. She moved to Denver in June of 2014 because she always wanted to live in Colorado. She is currently in the process of applying to PT school, and will hopefully be starting in the fall of 2016. She absolutely loves and hopes to spend the rest of her life here. Hillary goes to the mountains just about every weekend, but also loves to travel to other places around the states. She has a Miniature Australian Shepherd who keeps her extremely busy. He loves to be outside just as much as Hillary, so they both stay very active!
1. Where did you grow up?
I was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I moved to Denver in June of 2014.
2.What do you like to do in your free time?
I love to do anything active outdoors, especially with my Mini Aussie named Kio. My favorite weekend activities are hiking and skiing in the mountains. I’ve also recently started paddleboarding, which is a lot of fun. During the week I like to bike on the Cherry Creek Trail or in the Highlands, take Kio to the dog park, or just go for a nice walk.
3. Do you plan on going back to school, and if so what do you want to study?
I am applying to a few PT schools right now, so I will hopefully be enrolled in a DPT program by next fall!
4.Who has been your biggest inspiration?
I tend to look for inspiring qualities within each person that I meet throughout my life, so there isn’t just one particular person that inspires me. I think that every person has something great to offer or provides a lesson you can learn from.
