Four years ago, Bob Letendre identified and treated a frozen sacroiliac joint problem that neither a San Francisco 49ers doctor nor a local doctor could diagnose. With Bob's help, I was able, at the age of 65, to overcome the problem and earn a "Most Valuable Back" award for an over-50 rugby team. I am now 69 and often able to play well (sometimes I am terrible, but it's not Bob's fault). When I recently shredded my achilles due to a 15-year old bone spur and associated scar tissue calcification, I asked Bob to recommend a doctor. The doctor he recommended was outstanding and has me ready to start aggressive rehab with Bob after only 7 weeks, despite having had to cut 6" off of the achilles, pull in a toe tendon and cut and slide down part of the calf muscle. With Bob's help, I am certain I will soon be back on the rugby field competing against people of all ages and occasionally playing "stupid" rugby. Of course, I now blame Bob for all of my injuries, since it is his fault I am still able to play. Besides using Bob's physical therapy services, I suggest that anyone facing surgery ask Bob to recommend a surgeon. — Mike H., Denver
